You don't know who Ryan Clark is? Really?.

Plays for a great defense on a storied franchise.

Superbowl champion.

Opposite Troy Polamalu.

You should know who Ryan Clark is.

Stephen A. Smith cracks me up. Not many people in America can articulate in an accessible fashion the way he can. I'm a fan of the guy cuz regardless of his demeanor and emphasis, I agree with what he says more often than not.

Love Ryan Clark too though. I'm a fan and he's an underrated football player despite shitting the bed vs. BAL on the last drive in Pitt.

Bullsh*t...

I been watching football since since Buddy Ryan was the coach of the Eagles in the 80s... been watching football since before some of these kids who post here was born..

:oldlol: Ryan Clark is not the threshold of football knowledge... you gotta be kidding me .. lol

you comment would make some sense if we were talking Troy P... Or Ed Reed or somebody like that

there is 30+ teams in the league. you wont know all the all players at every position unless you have no life..

He didnt say athletes need to articulate exactly like him. He said some are terrible at it. Its the truth.

Nah, knowing the important players on great defenses is pretty much expected if someone is a big time football fan :confusedshrug: I'm not the authority on such subjects, don't make the rules, just my opinion

It's alright, I'm not bashing you. I guess you just aren't die-hard about the modern NFL. We're not talking about the starting safety on the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is an important player who has battled in many playoff games and on primetime.

Don't catch feelings. If you do, get you one of these

No I was saying that as a compliment because he's the wrong guy to publicly try to get at BECAUSE he's so rational/ bright/ atriculate. He's absolutely spot on about that. There are plenty of bright, scholarly athletes that have made it to the league. We all also know their are some str8 hood n!ggas that would prolly be in Sec. 8 housing if they weren't gifted athletically.

I know many people hate Skip with a passion...but I really do feel like those two have a great show, and yes part of why it is great is Skip bringing in the unpopular opinions and standing strong with them.

SAS is really good stuff too...both of them together are great IMO

SAS is on point here, I saw what Clark said, it wasn't accurate and he took a cheap shot at SAS when he wasn't even there. Skip called him out for it, one thing I really like about Skip, is no matter what, he won't ever back down from an athlete, weather it's on air or whatever.

Still completely dislike 99% of this show.

Clark is an attention seeker. Nothing new here.

I can't stand Bayless, but he makes for good TV. Would rather watch him than someone who always toes the company line.

With that said, his love affair with Tebow is extremely annoying.
