2012-2013 English Premier League Thread (La Liga, Serie A, etc.)

With Champions league officially over and only Copa del Rey left in Spain, we can start talking about transfer rumors and discuss next season's domestic competitions.

Some rumors:
- Eden Hazard to Manchester City?
- Fernando Torres could be looking to leave Chelsea
- Drogba is in talks for a new Chelsea deal (well deserved and he's far too good to waste away in the Chinese league)
- Jan Vertonghen to the Spurs??
- Shinji Kagawa to Man United?
- Jordi Alba to Barcelona?
- Nilmar to Barcelona?
- Gattuso to Lazio?
- PSG interested in Lavezzi and Eto'o.
- Gabriel to AC Milan?
- Villas-Boas to manage Liverpool?
- Clarence Seedorf to play in the Brazilian league? :wtf:

You'd be hard pressed at times to know he is even there.

Gattuso is going to Rangers if everything works out. Nilmar to Barcelona? Nah he's done.

Diarra and Carvalho are gone this summer. Kaka should leave also

I had heard like a rumor of a rumor was starting to circulate a little that Dempsey could head to Man City? Where the fuck did that come from? I knew about Liverpool and Arsenal looking but... Man City? Doesn't seem remotely possible.

Anyway. If you asked me in February where I thought Drogba was gonna be playing in the '12-'13 season I'd have said China. Now after the back half of the campaign I'm not so sure anymore that he'll be leaving Chelsea.

Dempsey would be a fool to go to City unless they gave him ridiculous wages as he would never play.

I see him getting some burn at Arsenal slotted behind VP.

Drogba can stay at Chelsea for all I care. Yea he made some ridiculous goals this year but he's slowed down a lot and is not the same player he was a couple years ago.

I agree. It would awful all around.

Didier has lost a step but he's still a player that commands a ton of attention and dictates pace at the head of attack. He's still really valuable when in form.

Sessegnon to stay at Sunderland.

Supposedly, PSG has offered €25M to Real Madrid for Kaka (please, God, let it be true). Furthermore, they also may be looking into buying Higuain. However, both pieces have been reported by the Spanish media, so I'd take them with a grain of salt.
