Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
GTA 5 will. It does everything GTA SA does and more.
Well, San Andreas did have Casinos.
But Las Venturas will not be part of GTA V, so I don't expect Casino's to return. SA also had gyms & food (nutrition). I am not aware that GTA V will have that either, although it probably will.
GTA V looks unparallel to anything I've anticipated before.
More so then TLoU, Uncharted 3 or Red Dead.
This game just looks like pure filth.
1) Huge world
2) 3 characters
3) Separate entity (GTA Online)
4) Tennis & Golf (plus other fun recretional activities)
5) opportunity to hike, explore underwater & hunt
6) By far the best mechanics (driving, movement, combat & shooting)
7) Dogs!!
I mean those 7 things are something no other GTA has ever done, point #6 excites me the most alongside GTA online.
This game just looks too good to be true!

It is cool that there will be stocks and real estate investment capabilities too in order to build your fortune.

Yeah bro.
I just love how they've implemented the entire socio-economic ladder into the game. I mean apparently, you can be worth over a billion dollars. You can buy business & property (to increase your revenue stream), be a criminal and rob banks etc., invest in stock (and manipulate it).
But most importantly, this time around your funds will actually help you become a success & therefore increase your socio-economic status. The condos you buy (or the beach houses), mansions, cars, boats & planes are far more detailed now. The apartments are so rich now. You have plasma's TVs, hopefully pool tables & darts, balconies, furniture and garages. I mean the stuff they've done with this game is incomprehensible to me.
How is that even possible? How do they have enough memory to do that?
Just nuts.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
First game i will buy in like 3 years.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
This game will prevent me from buying NBA 2K14, Saints Row IV, Assassin's Creed IV, and pretty much the entire PS4 & its game offerings for a long time to come.
About SRIV, I know I can get it this month, but I just don't feel like dedicating any time to it before GTA V comes out.
I've been playing GTA IV a lot lately in anticipation to this game.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
If this game flops, it'd probably be the biggest disappointment in gaming history :oldlol:
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
getting it on the 360...
I always hoped GTA would incorporate a sports arena with live games ( buying a ticket to watch a game of bball or football)..it would be cool to be able to walk onto the field while the game is played...
Gamertag - kobeizGOAT 2EZ :D ( space after GOAT)

Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
I'm actually excited for Deathmatches. I think that will be the first thing I do to get a feel for the shooting mechanics. That's one thing I didn't do enough in GTA IV, ranked Deathmatches. Really helped for leveling up, but I was so stuck on free mode I learned everything slowly but surely.
I doubt I finish the story mode for at least 6 months, maybe even longer. I tend to just give a shit about playing online now days, and now they've incorporated story to the online, so that's just nuts.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
Now I'm already regretting getting a dog :oldlol: I don't have time to play xbox that much because the puppy is taking my already limited playing time. I should just quit my job, baseball and working out :D
GTA V has so much to do, and as I've already pre-ordered this, it might actually take me to year 2014-15 to play this through :D
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
What's the online like in GTA? What's so good about it? Never really played it in GTA IV and whenever I did, I didn't know what to do. Just people driving around and they'd shoot you. And since the map is big it can be hard to find people. Is that all you do? Didn't find it that fun in IV.

You probably were playing free mode. That is where people can simply roam around the city and explore, mess with others etc. friendly fire can be turned off if you don't want people killing you for their own enjoyment. You had Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, mafia works, race, GTA race, cops n crooks and a couple other game modes to earn cash and rank up. Probably missed a couple.
It was fun in GTA 4. GTA 5 it should be even better. Red Dead Redemption multiplayer was fun as well. Rockstar improved multiplayer from GTA 4 to RDR. So again GTA 5 should be even better and RDR multiplayer was really fun too.
According to an ESRB listing picked up by the Mary-Jane senses of Kotaku, GTA V will be getting a Mature rating, and blazing a fat joint is just one of the reasons why. Here
