Plan b

I think our plan b is goran dragic. We could get him for three to four mil less than Nash. He is young and will continue a bit of a slower build. A Batum sign and trade would be the next order of business, sending out jj and Amir
Calderon would probably still be an amnesty casualty in all likelihood.

Thoughts.....
Dragic, bayless, Forbes, uzoh
Derozen, Ross, Forbes
Batum, kleiza
Bargs, Ed,kleiza
Val, gray, magloire

Dragic and bayless could play together some and derozen could play some at the three and kleiza could play some four.

Dragic would be a good signing for sure imo.

Re: Plan b

Dragic wants $10mill per and will probably get it.

Batum is a pipedream I think. No way we'd get him obviously for scrap heap of JJ and Amir. Portland I think really like him so getting any restricted FA is always difficult as their current team can offer more years/$$. I doubt Minny's $50 mill offer will get it done (could be wrong).

I'd rather have Jose.

Dragic is a huge risk at 10/year. Makes Jose's contract look like a bargain.
If I'm houston I keep Lowry and let him walk.

Batum's agent has postponed meeting with all other interested teams, and the thought is nick will choose between the wolves and blazers.

Even more great news for the raps.

I haven't seen anything but I heard a rumour that Houston has or is going to be putting in an offer sheet to Jeremy Lin.

Dragic is just as much of a one hit wonder as Lin is. Huge risks either way.

This. Plan B scares me. Anyone else remember Darren Collison's magical run with the Hornets before Indiana got him?

How'd that work out for them?

Re: Plan b

Certain systems are also so pg oriented that it makes them look better than they actually are. Houston has such a system. That is why Lowry looks so good and that is why Dragic looks good.
