Who does the LA Lakers draft at #26?

Who does the LA Lakers draft at #26? or, Is there a Big LA Mega Jumbo Block Buster trade going down on draft day?

Would love to hear your ISH's expertise.

Signed,

Team Kobe Bryant #24

Quincy Douby. They need a second scorer badly to take the load off kobe. He would also spread the floor a lot more and let scrubs like Kwame and Bynum do their work down low. You guys saw how effective they were in the playoffs when kobe wasn't their leading scorer. I see Douby coming off the bench scoring about 14 per game with maybe a steal or 2. Dude is very underrated on the defensive end.

james white.

Maybe a PG like Sergio Rodriguez slips to them? Roko fell pretty far down last year...so maybe he'll fall too. If he does Lakers should get him, they really need a PG bad. Smush is not starting calibur.

James White is a SG. He would get abused on the defensive end by most SF and have problems scoring on them as well.

I think the Lakers should draft Daniel Gibson or Jordan Farmer. There will not be any bigmen worth taking at that spot, but Gibson/Farmer will be an upgrade over Smush Parker.

Great ideas. I think if LA can send Odom for Ben Gordon and #2, they should do it, or #2 and Tyson Chandler.

LA can pick up Brando Roy at #2 with a solid pg in Ben Gordon

LA Lakers 2006/2007 Roster

Kobe Bryant
Brandon Roy
Luc Walton
Kawme Brown
Ben Gordon

That's a big upgrade. Unless if Keven Granett some how comes to town.

Quincy Douby, aka The Black Steve Kerr

Rajon Rondo.

TeamKobeBryant24 06-24-2006 07:46 PM

hopefully, LA can draft Rajon Rondo at #26. bring in Jermaine O' Neal or Kevin Garnett.

Kobe Bryant
Sam Cassell
Kevin Garnett
Kawme Brown
Luc Walton

or

Rajon Rondo. This Quincy guy is starting to sound good though too.....what team did he play for?

TeamKobeBryant24 06-24-2006 07:53 PM

Rajon Rondo stock is soaring, I hope he will still be around at #26.

geeWiz15 06-24-2006 07:56 PM

Wasn't Rondo always projected as a mid first rounder? I don't know. But that's what I thought.

Rutgers I believe.

Rondo won't be available with the 26th pick by the way.

If Sefalosha is available, you guys should pick him up, he has a do it all game that would probably fit nicely into the triangle.

hotsizzle 06-24-2006 08:37 PM

Pjax, Buss, and cupcake are all very very impressed with james white. they cant think of anyone that is more athletic than him and they see him as a very good fit in the triangle.
