On the Blazers site. Aldridge looks pretty good, so does Roy.

Anyone know any other teams that are showing their workouts?

Aldridge looked very impressive. Hopefully we take this guy, he looks good against no competition. Seriously.

Gay looked good with the J and handles, impressed too.

It's really a toss up for me between barnani and aldridge. Though i don't think brain is going to draft aldridge because he said that Bosh is still going to play a little C during the season.

roy's got a nice jumper

Aldridge looked great and he has great footwork for a big guy.

I think that's more to do with the team not having a backup C and Charlie's best position being PF.

Rasho won't be playing 35mins per game so, I assume, whenever he's not out there, Bosh will be moved over to C and Charlie will be the PF.

I'm all for one of Bargnani, Gay or Aldridge. The Raptors need talent and size and/or athleticism and IMO those 3 are the most talented guys in the draft when you consider both their current abilities and potential.

I hope the blazers get to draft Aldridge, he looks like he'll be really good and I think he'd be a great fit there.

Personally I'm torn between Gay and Morrison and now realize that Roy is a legit possibility for us at 3, all of which seem like great options to me. Personally I prefer Gay but I think here in Charlotte is a great oportunity for either of the 3 to succeed.

I personally think he's soft. IMO, anyone who NBAdraft compares to Channing Frye of all people just shouldn't be someone to go crazy over.

Younggrease 06-24-2006 10:23 PM

looks soft to me too... he is a jump shooting big with a bad hook shot. and doesnt jump too well from that tape although he could be very tired. He could be good but he has to toughen up and not rely on that turn around jumper as much

Aldridge = Softer, shorter Brian Cook, without the nice 3 ball.

Roy = not 6'6", short arms, good mid range jumper, uncertain NBA 3 range.

Morrison = Looks like quick NBA 2 guard who can get hot in half court or transition. Still looks crazy tho.

Gay = Looked good, tall, quick

I also like Pops Mensah Bonsu, I have a feeling all these mock drafts are wrong. He will be drafted late.

Zombles 06-25-2006 01:49 AM

Morrison's quickness for a 3, money jumper, and ability to dribble, pull-up, and take crazy off balance mid-range runners is gonna make him a big-time NBA scorer someday. Get him to a team with a fluid, motion offense with lots of screens, and he'll shine.

People are underrating the kid because of the goofy mustache and lack of vertical athleticism.

And god damn Aldridge still looks too thin to play center. He's a PF any way you slice it. A pretty good PF at that.

Roy has decent handles and a nice mid-range shot.

Gay has a great build but his shot is questionable.

Where did you get this information? He measured out at 6'6.25" with a respectable 6'8" wingspan at the Orlando pre-draft camp.

Aldridge is 6'11 right? Cook is only like 6'8-6'9.
