Which PC Game Should I Buy First Friends?
 

I asked about overall which PC games to collect but now I have a different question. I'm getting the laptop in a couple days and have narrowed it down to two games and want to know which to start with.

Diablo III or Witcher 2. I've made it clear how much I love WRPG's. I played D2 Expansion all throughout HS and LOVED it.... but I like RPG's such as Mass Effect, Dragon Age etc even more. According to reviews/ratings both are about a 9 out of a 10 so obviously both good games. The advantage to Witcher is I can get enhanced version for 29 new where as Diablo is still 59. Thoughts?

I can't speak for Diablo 3 because I haven't played it. I don't really have any desire to even though I loved the first 2 games. When there are much cheaper alternatives like Torchlight 2 on the way, I don't feel like bothering with all the crap of Diablo 3's system.

The Witcher 2 is incredible. It's basically like a more mature Dragon Age Origins (which I loved as well). It would be my first recommendation for anyone who is looking at a PC RPG.

Definitely The Witcher 2. Currently 15.99 on steam for like 3 more hours. Buy the shit out of it and don't look back.

Someone doesn't know how steam works :cry: . You can buy and not install. Hell it's still only 23.99. It may be a daily deal still. I'd wait and see if it's a daily deal again. If not it's going to be 23.99 until July 23rd. But like I said you can buy a game and not install it. Get on steam and take advantage of these deals. It's the best time to be a pc gamer.

Arma II - Combined Operations

Then you can download the DayZ mod for free. Amazing game, albeit quite buggy. But it is in alpha right now. But it's becoming very big, very quickly, and will probably be a standalone game sooner or later.
