Okay first to explain the rules. There are 8 territories so a maximum of 8 people can play. There will only be 8 rounds during the draft. You will pick 1 character from the territory, leader, hand, and Maester catagories. You will pick 2 characters from Special and everyone else category. There is no order in how you have to pick, just make sure you pick the the minimum required amount from each category. -------------------------------------------------------------- Next, you may have noticed numbers next to each name. Here's how this bad boy gets broken down. At the end we'll tally up each teams points. There will be a battle system, certain aspects are set in stone, they are: Attack Defense assassin body guard So when two people are fighting it will be judged attack v defense defense v attack body guard v assassin assassin v body guard this is where command and council come into play command can be used to buff your attack or defense #'s council can be used to buff your assassin or bodyguard #'s Now this is where (imo) it gets game of thrones-y Scout and Subversion Subversion is used against your opponents categories A D BG AS, you can place all in one category or spread it out between all or some. Scout is used to block Subversion which again can be used in just one, some or all of your categories. --------------------------------------------------------- The commish will tally up everything and post everything in the thread. The Winner now takes the losers Territory into the next round and can pick 1 character (total, only 1 out of all the categories) from the Hand or Maester or Special categories.. only 1!!! So you take one character and their territory to add to your next fight.. and so on until there is only one person left ruling all of Westeros. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Further break down, lets say you drafted these numbers. 8 command points 6 council points 23 attack points 22 defense points 5 body guard points 7 assassin points 7 subversion points 4 scout points You take your 8 points from command and you decide where to place them, in this case you decide to split them evenly now you have 27 attack points 26 defense points Now you take your 6 council points and do the same, this time we'll put 4 in the body guard and 2 points in assassin 9 body guard points 9 assassin points You decide you want to protect your body guard points totally so you put all 4 towards your body guard points. and you take your 7 points in subversion, placing 3 against your opponents body guard points and 4 against their attack points. ---------------------------------------------------------- Now of course these numbers will depend on what your opponent has and where you decide to play your points. |
