Lower body workout without weights
What can you do to strengthen your lower body if you don't have access to weights? I don't feel like I'm exerting myself at all when I do stuff like squats and lunges without them.

Re: Lower body workout without weights
Do single leg squats and single leg dead lifts or airplanes or what ever you want to call them. Those are probably better exercises anyway because they will not only make you stronger but they will also decrease your chance of being injured. Those are really a better place to start than weights anyway.

Re: Lower body workout without weights
Wall sits are hell. But if you do them enough you'll have strenghtened and more defined calfs/ hamstrings.

Re: Lower body workout without weights
do hill sprints once a week

Re: Lower body workout without weights
My quads and hamstrings are dead from jump-lunges, squats, and box-jump burpees. Hopefully it will pay off though.

Re: Lower body workout without weights
I agree with amber. Single leg stuff can be good, especially if you try and attempt pistol squats. I haven't worked on it legitimately and when I tried doing one ass to grass, I almost didn't get to stand back up. :oldlol: But yeah, variations of lunges, squats, jumps, and sprints will cover you. Just make sure to not go into sprints and jumps 100% right away. Stuff will leave you sore for days, maybe even weeks, if you didn't build yourself up properly.
