my gut feeling is Ewing, due to his impact on those all-time great Knicks defenses
Frazier typically wouldn't check in for quite some time, but I've been watching a lot of video and reading articles as of late, so it might be a recency bias
Rodman is extremely difficult to place as a role-player, but he's what one might consider the GOAT in that regard (a super specialist in rebounding, man perimeter defense, man post defense)
Patrick Chewing is my vote.
