Deal Imminent, Lockout to End and Officials to be back Sunday

Via many sources on Twitter (all the big ones...)

That play in the Packer game is my favorite play ever now, not only did it make Packer fans cry, it ended this stupidity.

yeah I am reading that too

I was saying Monday night in the game thread that we should all be happy that the game ended the way it did, because it will be the thing that gets the real refs back.

ESPN is saying they are pretty close as well in this article.

Plus it gave the Packers a loss, they seem distracted by their own whining (justified as it is) and was hysterically funny albeit utterly ridiculous. Win win.

The thing that got lost Monday was how atrocious the officiating was in general. The Packers got their go ahead touchdown aided by a 3rd down pass interference that was just wrong. And then, Seattle came down the field aided by an even worse call. And those were just two of a million. And the game was SO long and the pacing so disjointed.

yes, IMO the "catch" part wasn't even close to the worst call that game...it can kind of be seen as being caught by both, it was somewhat understandable...it was the BLATANT OFFENSIVE PI that was bad, and then like you said all the ridiculous calls leading up to that play...

I was too. Indy's terrible so even if the refs had cost them a game at some point sure I'd have been pissed in the moment but come April I'd be happy it got us a higher draft pick.
