Original 360 owners?
 

Does anyone else own this complete ****ing piece of shit? Circle cuts in disks, can't read the hard drive, can never connect to live, freezes on a normal basis, gets RROD. I'm fed up, buying a slim tomorrow

I had the first generation of xbox 360, was the shittiest console I ever owned. ****ing broke every month! Good god, that was the worst experience for a gamer. I'm using the new black slim one, been good for a year already :)

I have a first gen. Sent it in after it broke, got a refurb, and of course that one hasn't had a problem since.

I hope mine stays up for just a bit longer. Next (last?) generation of consoles coming out soon anyway.

I had the original one go bad and got it replaced then that one went bad and had that one fixed free of charge. I'm still using that one. 20GB and still going strong.

I still have the original and have had zero problems with it. Other than the Laser burns in the disk ones.

My original died about a year ago. Never had any issues with it until that point though, it may have scratched discs if moved but I never moved it while it was running.

i never buy first release consoles. i always wait at least 2 or 3 years because that's when the good games start to come out and most importantly, the manufacturers tend to improve from the first batch.

my brother in law bought him a original 360, and i remembered that shiet was loud like a jet engine.
