Greg Monroe should be our first option - he has so much poise in the post, developing a great little jumper, hits the offensive glass HARD..

Andre Drummond - looked great, finishes strong, defends strong, more active than I thought. Runs the pick and roll well... 2 blocks and 2 steals with 0 turnovers, nice

Knight - great change of speed which keeps his opponents guessing. Good blend of scoring / passing ability. Splits the pick and roll defense with ease.

Jerebko - Going to stretch the floor well for us this year

Stuckey + Maggette - can get to the rim with absolute ease, should get a lot of people in foul trouble!

Bynum looked good running the floor, but his defense was terrible...

Max was a beast like usual, real hustle team man

Prince - looked slow, with all our youth on our bench, I hope we limit his game time to preserve him...

Charlie V - looked active, but still can't see him in our rotation

Pistons fans probably breathed a sigh of relief after drummond's performance.

I think we're all very happy about what Drummond did yesterday. Solid game for sure. Our young trio of Knight, Drummond, and Monroe all looked good. I was impressed with Knight. Of course Toronto doesn't have PG's who actually play defense so I'm going to be anxious to see how he does when there's more pressure.

No Austin Daye, no Kravtsov, or even the 2nd rounders.... I wonder what to read into that. It really looks like the guys who played tonight are the guys who seem to be in the rotation and the coaching staff was looking to see how they would perform together. I would guess some of the other guys might see playing time the next game and a few others might see less, but I just get this feeling that's what the rotation is. If that's what it is, they should trade Daye now. Either give the kid a chance or don't hurt his stock. They could still get a little something for him. If he doesn't see the floor at all they would get nothing.

The other observation is I'm glad we didn't draft Ed Davis.

Hey mate - don't read too much into the lineup, Frank said he was going to give players real playing time instead of 19 players 5 minutes each etc, so next game you will see a completely different rotation - Daye will be getting 30+ minutes next game I would assume

I kind of figured that, but I can't help but feel for the first preseason game he went with what his gut thought would be the main rotation guys.
