Lakers D-Unit

1)Kobe Bryant
2)Devin Ebanks
3)Metta World Peace
4)Jordan Hill
5)Dwight Howard

I would love to see those 5 players on the court at the same time at different points in the season. Our 5 best defenders all on the court at the same time. I don't see how you could score on that lineup.

I don't see how that 5 can score either....

Kobe is the only ball handler in those list of guys. All a defender would need to do is double/triple Kobe, and count on the rest to brick their shots from distance.

We haven't even seen this lineup ... so I don't know if you're right.

I don't know either. Its an opinion. What could I, a B.S. in psych, possibly know about basketball fundamentals? :)

I have a B.A. in psychology and I think this unit could be effective. Jordan Hill is better offensively than people realize and the same is infinitely true of Howard.

Maybe this would be a lineup used exclusively for defensive purposes. For example, we're up by 1 point and the opposing team has the ball with enough time on the clock for one shot. A unit like this would certainly be our best chance of getting a stop.
