Anybody else know any active players over 30+ game winners ?
I knew Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter are the only active players with over 30+ Game Winners and obviously they took a lot of shots, because they have to create their offense when the defense keys in on you. Has Kobe had over 40+ now ?
What year do those stats go up too?
From last season I can remember the GW vs the Raptors and the game tying jumper vs the Pistons. So if those stats are updated from the 2010-11 season, then Kobe has 38, unless if I forgot some.

He should be at over 30 plus which is quite a lot of game winners.

T-Mac. He should get credit for 100000 game winners just for the 13 points in 33 seconds.
@Deuce game winner in the 3-21 game against Hornets last year :lol
So a shot made with 37 seconds left to "send the game into OT" is a gamewinner? You have to be kidding
I also like how Pauk includes that shot, but ignores the shot that LeBron missed when the game was tied at 99 with 20.4 seconds left in game 4 of the Boston series
I don't think anyone has as much as Kobe.

It was in the middle of 2010-2011 season. I'm pretty sure he got 1 or 2 during the end of that season.
So yeah, 38 or 39... he's either close or he has 40 or more by now.

Yes, that one counts, because it was under the criteria (24 seconds or less).
So 39 at LEAST by this point.

that's why I said he's passing around fake stats that anyone can do on a spreadsheet.

You said it was mid-way in 2010-11 season right?
Then Kobe would have 40, because I remember him hitting a game tying 3 in the last game vs Kings in 2011. http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/pbp/201104130SAC.html#q4

Yep, it's 40.
The article was on January 28, 2011
36 made
since then:
game tying 3 vs Kings in '11
gamewinner vs raptors in '12
game tying shot vs pistons in '12
gamewinner vs hornets in '12
On like 120+ attempts:lol but still, 40 is a lot.
Dude hasn't hit a gamewinner/game-tying jumper in the Playoffs since 2008 :biggums:

Yeah, article came out in January 2011.
Yes, I remember that game. Final game of the season, good find.
So it's official then, Kobe at least has 40 game winning makes, 43 overall (unless we missed out on another game winner). Think he will make it to 50 GW ?
