The problem was the offense... when they had the league's 6th best offense?
That's odd.
I know it is early and I know that Nash got injured but no way in hell should that team be 6th on offense.

This team is a joke
I don't blame Mike Brown. I blame Steve Blake. He's pretty much useless if his jumper's not falling.
Shows how much power a player really has

Bickerstaff has told league friends that he doesn't expect to be interim past a game, sources say. "He didn't go to LA for that," one says.
The problem was the defense never able to get set and dig in because they ran a offense that didn't fit the personnel and led to them averaging 17 TOs a game...on top of his terrible rotation moves and minute distribution...don't let the door hit you on the way out Mike Brown
The lakers FINALLY have the best PG in the history of the franchise since Magic, and you don't want the ball in his hands the majority of the time?...:kobe:
All that being said..I think you'll hear Pau for Josh Smith rumors get heated in the coming weeks and I think they'll go with D'Antoni..he runs a easy offense that won't take any time to impliment..makes sense if you're hiring him during a season
This is great news. :applause:
Wasn't there just an article on ESPN quoting Buss saying he was safe? 5 games in, damn.
On TOP of cutting Goudelock and CDR in favor of D.Morris and Ebanks

I'm not saying I want it or it will happen, which I don't want J Smooth over Pau tbh..I'm just saying the rumors will start...watch
There will be no championship for LA this year, no matter who the coach is. The roster is too old in key positions, and Nash and Kobe's skills are mismatched.
LA is going to be a circus for the rest of the season.
Mitch Kupchak wanted Rick Adelman. Too late now he's with the Twolves. Jim Buss wanted Brown and now he's firing him.
Does it matter to Mike Brown? He's getting his buyout (18 million dollar contract) either way. Lakers front office dun goof'd. They're crackheads for even hiring him for that much. Only to fire him 5 games in.
time to hire this guy

Why not hire Jeff Van Gundy instead?
