As much as I'm loving and laughing at the chaos of the Lakers this fine NBA season, I kinda respect that they didn't wait around until the All-star break. They just pulled the trigger on the firing with some balls.
But mostly I'm laughing...
... unless they bring back Philip or the get Jerry Sloan...
Then I might now be laughing anymore. :rant
So, how much of Mike Brown's salary from his NBA coaching tenure in Cleveland does Mike Brown owe Lebron?
Does anybody feel bad for the dude? I mean, he did get paid, but still -- humiliated in front of millions, and the whole league?
I officially feel sorry for Mike Brown.
Lakers have no problem paying the remaining $11 million on Brown's salary and will still pursue a marquee coach. Must be nice having all that TV money Lakers fans...
I do feel bad for Mike Brown but he's best suited to being a defensive assistant coach for a top team, I'm sure he'll find himself on a bench again in the NBA.

But he knew what he was getting into.

I kind of agree. If they knew it wasn't going to work, don't wait to save face. Change immediately and give new coach time to salvage season...........
LA was sixth in offensive efficiency.
So it's not their offense that is the problem.
The Mike Brown firing may light a fire under their players though...they'll be wanting to prove that Brown really was the problem.
Mitch is the real deal...the way he talks, you buy it...I buy it.
I think they'll go with D'Antoni..he runs a easy offense that won't take any time to impliment..makes sense if you're hiring him during a season
Very good point.
I'm not saying I want it or it will happen, which I don't want J Smooth over Pau tbh..I'm just saying the rumors will start...watch
Not gonna happen. Hawks got a new GM that is completely opposed to the deal. Doesn't make them contenders and the contract doesn't allow for rebuilding.
Poor Brown, he passed his prime when coaching Lebron...
Fuuuuuuuu*k!!!
Now the Heat might not repeat if they face the Lakers! :(
The exact moment that Brown was fired:

This is way too premature, I got very limited respect for the Lakers managment.
Every team and coach goes through ups and downs, this just shows that this organisation is fickle.
