The Mamba's poison is as deadly as its bite.
I send my condolences to Mike Brown and hopes he recovers.
Why not hire Jeff Van Gundy instead?
I would love it, enjoy having the white version of Mike Brown on your team instead. :oldlol:
Does anybody feel bad for the dude? I mean, he did get paid, but still -- humiliated in front of millions, and the whole league?
I officially feel sorry for Mike Brown.
I would love to be in his position, lots of money

So Mike Brown gets all that money and doesn't have to deal with all those egos on the Lakers. Yeah, Mike Brown is the real winner here. The only coach Kobe will respect is Phil.

No he's a nice guy and all but I think all you have to do is look at what Ramon Sessions is doing in Charlotte and how Steve Nash was playing as a Laker to see that team was going nowhere fast with Brown. Hopefully he gets an assistant coaching job.

And Shaw and Fisher.
[I]"Lakers ownership made clear that buying out the remaining three years on Brown's original $18 million, four-year contract wasn't an obstacle to making a coaching change. "
"The irony is that Jerry Buss' son who runs the day-to-day operations of the franchise, Jim
For all you people saying that the offense wasn't the problem have you ever watched a Laker game this season? You don't invest 30 million into a spot up shooter they could have sign 2 for half that price.
why'd they hire him in the first place is the real question
this guy is a inept HEAD coach, would probably work better as a assistant coach
I remember when miami heat started 0-3 in the first season if their first big 3! good thing they didn't fire coach spoelstra. because i think the problem is with their team chemistry
Lakers have no problem paying the remaining $11 million on Brown's salary and will still pursue a marquee coach. Must be nice having all that TV money Lakers fans...
I do feel bad for Mike Brown but he's best suited to being a defensive assistant coach for a top team, I'm sure he'll find himself on a bench again in the NBA.
Heat should hire him as an Assistant/Defensive coach
