People are mad that brown didn't put the ball in Nash's hand. But they wanna run the triangle?

Exactly

But remember Phil lets players play outside of the Triangle at times.

But best coach would be Sloan or D'antoni with this lineup.

Some people are mad at that.. I think most Laker fans were just frustrated by Brown's ineptitude during multiple times last season and during this entire season thus far.. he commanded no respect and from day one he came out saying he would "defer" to kobe.. what type of head coach says something like this?

Anyways I literally called this exact situation right when the brown hire happened, I always knew he was a terrible choice over Brown and Kelly Dwyer from yahoosports seems to think the same thing (no relation)

in 20 years, when the Lakers suck again, they are gonna dig up his corpse and have him sit at the sideline....... weekend at bernie style

But would Phil even at that point be better than Brown?

I say yes.

The good thing with Phil is that 3 of your starters already know the triangle in Artest, Kobe and Gasol. The latter 2 of which has spent nearly their entire careers playing under it. Nash is also one of the smartest players in the league along with Gasol so I just literally couldn't see how that wouldn't work under Phil. I honestly don't know that much about Dwight's basketball IQ/smarts but from his interviews he seems to have an "intelligent" type of humor to him so I couldn't see him being one of those steep learning curbs kind of learners either.

Either way how could you not hire the GOAT as your coach.. Phil would be a huge step up in literally 99% of the teams in the league and that includes Miami. (Spurs is prob the only team where its debatable)

Hmm, the problem is, the ball out of Nash hands wasn't THE problem with Brown, it was everything, he wasn't getting anything right, like at all. Phil is by FAR the best shot there is, besides, if Fisher could run the triangle I bet smart Nash will be able too.

Yea we'll see.. historically the triangle really doesn't play to a ball-dominant PG's strengths... Nash however is also excellent at pick'n'roll and Phil ran a great deal of that his last few seasons in LA.

Sloan is double edged sword. This team offensively similar to late 90's Jazz team. Howard & Nash can play pick and roll like Malone & Stockton and Kobe can still shoot the ball more than Hornacek. It might work like a unstoppable machine. However, he is crazed about hustle and defense and he is known with his temper enough to clash with Kobe,Nash etc. He isn't laid back persona like Phil Jackson.

Phil Jackson is still best choice. He knew how to use Shaq, he knew how to use Gasol, he knew how to use Kobe. He is good at having bunch of superstars with egos and make it work beautifully.

I would love to see D'antoni on Lakers. I have no idea if that works but it would be full drama and also most fun to watch like Suns.:lol
