Being married a long time is no reason to abandon exercise. But don't you know she suffers from tyroid conditions just like every other obese woman?

My point is she's close to 60 years old.

So is he. She should have been exercising and eating right. Age doesn't force you into obesity.
i believe he probably got a lot of extra ass outside his marriage, but i don't believe he stepped down for this reason.

if you don't want to be with your wife anymore you get a divorce.
sorry but there is no excuse for cheating.

Never said he was in the right. It's just that I can feel some sympathy for his circumstance.

Well he stepped down probably because the affair was soon to be public knowledge. The affair was discovered by the FBI when they were looking into a harassment complaint against Paula Broadwell. In that case they looked into her email and saw all these emails to and from the general. This opened up possible security issues with Petraeus. So it goes to his professional judgement as well.
My wife is having an affair with a government executive. His role is to manage a project whose progress is seen worldwide as a demonstration of American leadership. (This might seem hyperbolic, but it is not an exaggeration.) I have met with him on several occasions, and he has been gracious. (I doubt if he is aware of my knowledge.) I have watched the affair intensify over the last year, and I have also benefited from his generosity. He is engaged in work that I am passionate about and is absolutely the right person for the job. I strongly feel that exposing the affair will create a major distraction that would adversely impact the success of an important effort. My issue: Should I acknowledge this affair and finally force closure? Should I suffer in silence for the next year or two for a project I feel must succeed? Should I be

:lol The columnist didnt believe his story.
But who would, if I got that letter I would assume 99% it was fake.
I mean really how many people are involved with the US government in global leadership position? like 0.00001% of the population.
EDIT: what would you do if your wife was sleeping with the Director of the CIA, who happens to be a 4 star general? Confront him or not?

Nice.
The other day, I was convinced I saw, Nate Silver on the street......wasn't him though.
I not the biggest Petraeus fan, but really? We are going to make the Director of the CIA resign cos he cheated on his wife?
What is this 1872? Why does cheating on your spouse = incompetence at work to some people?
Who said we are it's himself who wants to step down.

She really does live down the street from me. Funny thing is she's one of these "super moms" who does everything: has the perfect Dr. husband, works in this glamorous job, has 2 perfect kids, and still manages to run all these charity social events. I find it kind of comforting that she's not that perfect after all. I'm guessing she won't make the Dilworth ladies Christmas event. :oldlol:
She jogs past my house every morning. Nice tight ass.
