Clipper Fans Today
The reaction from Clipper Fans Today
http://twitpic.com/6gohgu/full It is sad that the Ego of Jimmy prevented the Lakers to get Phil :facepalm |
Re: Clipper Fans Today
Lakers have talent/age problem, not coaching problem.

Strongly disagree. Brown did not utilize the talent the Lakers have. I will give him the benefit that Howard is not 100% and Nash was out...but the rotations and system made the bench look that bad. |
Re: Clipper Fans Today
The Clippers are a great team, but are we really going to pretend that Pringles is worse than Vinny?
REALLY???? |

that would be totally nonsensical. |
Re: Clipper Fans Today
Don't agree at all. In fact I'm more worried today than I was yesterday with Phil rumors about the Lakers. Why? Because I don't think anybody realizes how much pushing the tempo and sharing the ball more will do for this roster (which Mike will force). The Lakers may score 130+ semi regularly if they click and stay healthy, and will have a way better D than the Suns ever did.

Haha Jackson wouldn't be good either with a ball dominant PG. I think we really need to give Sloan a shot. If McMillan is taken off the market to D'Antoni's staff that takes away yet another option. Sloan SVG If we don't get one of these guys, the team failed. Sad thing is Clippers roster is so talented and will just get far enough where once again Clippers will likely re-sign Vinny. |
Re: Clipper Fans Today
The Lakers have chemistry issues and no bench.
|
Re: Clipper Fans Today
You realize that the lakers will have to run a slower version of the D' Antoni system. Their defense will still suck. They still have no bench. Kobe and Nash can't run up and down the court like they used.

We'll see how it plays out. IMO Kobe's numbers are going to come to earth (though he still very good), Nash falls off due to age, Pau started to fall off last season and has continued to do so and Howard takes a while to recover from back surgery. Outside of that, that team is total sh:t. It's Malone/GP all over again and I think the league is too deep now to have 4 guys (who aren't in their prime except Howard who hasn't fully recovered) dominate. Edit: and I'm not even factoring in the high injury potential they have... |
Re: Clipper Fans Today
This teams legs will ****ing shatter before the playoffs even start.
