He is just a product of the system. Give him a system he fits in and he would not be a scrub. It is a good thing because I like Melo and I still think he's a good as Lebron (offensively) and not overrated as people say he is.

ray's pretty good. people wrote him off after an off year last year, but I was always down with bringing him back. he's not as heady as you'd ideally want your point guard to be, but he's far from a scrub.

He played well but I don't think he outplayed Parker who was the Spurs best player.

Portland didn't run a PG friendly offense last year and Ray atmitted that he was way outta shape. He was always a bit bulky, that's just his build.. but last year he looked horrible. He also didn't try at times, throwing up bad shots, making horrible decisions. I think a lot of it had to do with him not fitting into his role in the Portland offense.
It's not like he lost his talents. Just his shape and his motivation, while also playing in an offense he didn't like (maybe in a place he didn't want to be?).

Best of luck to Felton in NY, glad he's gone and that he's found a place he can be productive.

Seeing him this year is like night and day compared to last, i remember his bricking, airballing and forcing terrible drives all game for the Trail Blazers and this year hes just been beasting and at times just controlling games, gj Felton on coming back strong
