This sounds like something Clyde would say. At least for me because I'm not from the USA.

After I had read the rest of the sentence and looked up the meaning on the Internet I got it. But at first I was like :wtf: does that word mean ? :lol

Core means guys that are pivotal to what the team is trying to achieve. Three guys you definitely want healthy in a must win game. Or five guys that achieve that end. Who is at the heart of the team and which the other guys need.

This team will have a very deep bench as we will have Amare and Shumpert in the future and our great comrads here have them as key players. These are exciting times!
