The Diamondbacks are my sleeper.

Are the Diamondbacks any good? I just spit that out kind of randomly? I really don't know anything about baseball.

Yeah, I'm seeing that. . .you think Johnson will do anything spectacular this year, or just continue going downhill?

Perfect, then they'll make an excellant sleeper. I use to follow baseball regularly, but ever since the start of the new millenium it just hasn't done it for me. You know? I'm planning on making a commitment to watch more of it this upcoming season, but we'll see how that turns out.

The Red Sox have the best team on paper, They need a good closer and Piniero is not the answer. Cubs should be good with all the money they spent(Soriano), but they need to get their pitchers healthy. Dodgers should be very good, best in the NL.

Yankees will have the best record in the league and the Red Sox will choke and miss the playoffs.

Another question
Who's gonna be the Tigers of 2007?

Yanks own the biggest choke job in sports history.

They still have horrendous pitching outside of Kazmir unless they get a miraculous breakthrough from one of their pitching prospects. The Rays will not finish any better than 4th in the East and this will likely continue for many years. Even if guys like Young, Dukes, MacGee, Sonnastine, etc. etc. pan out they don't have a big enough budget to keep these guys beyond their option years. They pretty much are in a hopeless situation. Even Baltimore has a big budget to work with... they've just screwed it up lately.
