What happened to Philip Rivers?

He was an elite QB not to long ago putting up some dynamic numbers on some good squads. He's still a good QB but he's a shell of him former self and he's becoming a turnover machine while being extremely unclutch.

It can't be his age so is Turner one of the main reasons for his decline?

His supporting cast isn't very good. The offensive line is probably among the worst the NFL.

Rivers himself isn't what he used to be, but if you put him on a good squad he'll start putting up very good numbers again. He's still a very accurate passer when he gets to set his feet.

It's not physical, it's the mental errors mostly for Rivers. So the good news is it is very fixable for Rivers.

but his offensive line....that line is brutal for the most part. Jake Matthews would be an ideal draftee for them.

Yep, bad line, no Vincent Jackson, other receivers too inconsistent, run game sputtering and Antonio Gates seeming to be in decline equals bad year for Rivers. He has definitely lost some confidence in the play calling too.

They let all the talent around him walk away. Seems like the owner is trying to save money or something because there is no other reason Turner should still have a job. :oldlol:

Losing VJax was huge. He essentially has no running game or offensive line either. Antonio Gates is definitely on the decline too.
