Washington Wizards
Sad to say that my team looks like they could break the record for most losses to start a season (0-18).
Nothing seems to be working. John Wall and Nene don't seem to be coming back soon, Brad Beal can't make a shot and doesn't seem to have that nasty factor that great, young players seem to have. Ernie Grunfeld should be canned Randy Wittman should be canned as well in the next few games if they can't get a win and none other than Sam Cassell will take over Nerlens Noel? Cody Zeller? Shabaaz Muhammad? who will be the answer? |
Re: Washington Wizards
Hypothetically, what is John Wall's trade value?

Lol what? probably not much. Maybe if we had a real GM, a real coach and a decent supporting cast, we wouldn't need to figure that out. |

Neither is possible because he is still on his rookie deal. |
Re: Washington Wizards
trade all the vets for picks. no idea why they have so many old guys on a rebuilding team
|
Re: Washington Wizards
How's Randy Wittman keep getting jobs? Why's Vesely keep getting playing time? Are Jordan Crawford and Nick Young the same person?
The injuries hurt, but seriously, that organization's just a dumpster fire right now and unfortunately there's nothing close to a savior in this draft (haven't seen Shabazz outside of Youtube). |
Re: Washington Wizards
Shabazz played his first college game today and didnt look all that impressive. Zeller played today too and he looked bad. Nerlens got potential though

Re: Washington Wizards
Our roster is Solid. We need new GM and New Coach.
Lost about 7 Close games this year and I blame the Coach but the Youngens are Working hard out there. One good thing I can say is AJ Price was a good pick up for his Price and will be a good back up for Wall. I just want Wall and Nene back so We actually have a go to guy instead of Jordan Jacking it up or Kevin making mistakes at the end of the game. |

Noel is extremely raw but at worst he is a Serge Ibaka type of player. Doesn't have much offensive skill but his basketball IQ in terms of knowing where to be defensively along with his shot blocking will make him a factor. Only downside is I don't think he has the frame to put on weight to be a Center in the NBA. He has narrow shoulders, skinny legs & no girth in his hips. Physically he is built like a volleyball player and will get pushed around at times by NBA Centers. |
Re: Washington Wizards
NENE might be playing tomorrow! woo, pick him up fantasy players

Re: Washington Wizards
problems with the wizards by player:
Wall: injured Nene: injured Beal: shot falls inconsistently. Offense doesn't create enough open 3's for him Ariza: Poor handle. Poor shooter. Poor decision maker. inefficient in general on O Crawford: Take's long 3's with half the clock left. refuses to pass unless it's an emergency drive and dish. Very predictable on offense most of the time Vesely: Can't shoot. Needs to add muscle to defend in the post because he is not a 3. Actually pretty good team defender and one of the few guys who knows where to be on offense even if it doesn't matter because the D plays so far off him :facepalm Emeka okafor: touch around the basket has been pretty bad. disappears on offense Booker: poor defensive player due to height and not a good pnr man. Really is more of a 3 without range on his shot. Seraphin: best player playing right now. not starting. Can't handle double teams in the post well Singleton: unbalanced when shooting off the dribble and not a good shooter in general. good on D sometimes but fast breaks instead of crashing the glass and blows a lot of finishes on the break AJ Price: Can't run the offense and settles for long jumpers all day Martell Webster: mediocre and pretty much superfluous Shaun Livingston: I was at the wiz-pacers game the other night and he was the only guy on the court for the wizards who didn't get frustrated. Size difference vs. other Pg's lets him post up and slow down the offense so guys like Beal can move off the ball. Forces the guys to slow down and his mid range game is nice. Otherwise he's limited but I think he should get a chance to start over Price. |
