The 2011-12 OKC Thunder team is one of the more stacked teams of all time.

Seriously, now that we know how nasty James Harden is as a featured player, that team was triple stacked.

Three players all capable of being featured players on playoff teams. All 23 or under.

Not to mention Serge Ibaka who is a 14/8 3+ block d-poy candidate type player.

Sheesh. Had LeBron not joined Miami with Wade and Bosh, and had these new punitive luxury tax rules not come into play with the new CBA, allowing them to keep Harden long-term, OKC is wheeling off 4 straight titles, easy.

Thunder are well stacked for the future even without harden.. The trade was a good one..

Another thread by a lebron nutrider trying to say other teams are stacked and that it was ok for Lebron to leave the Cavs for Miami :facepalm

They are and certainly were stacked though.

They only didn't win the chip, because they didn't have a post presence. Teams without a guy that can legitimately provide post play allows teams to really play small, and the small lineup is what allowed the Heat to matchup so well vs OKC.

Ibaka couldn't punish Lebron or Battier downlow. KD doesn't have a really effective post game, unless he has a much smaller player defending him. Perkins was obviously made irrelevant basically.

Because of that little fact, I don't think they could've or are a dynasty type team. I don't think that they or the Heat are clear favorites to win anything this year.

Stacked is one of the most overused and misused words on this board. The Thunder have/had a lot of talent, but in '12, it was mostly their big 3. They had only 3 players average double figures. Whether the '12 Thunder were "stacked" is debatable. They didn't have outstanding depth.

Top 3 PG, SG, and SF in the NBA on one team. When was the last team to have that?

Too bad their depth was so-so and they had scrub Perkins.

They were "top heavy" stacked.

The 2012-13 Clippers are "stacked".

Perkins makes everything else irrelevant. A giant black hole of shittiness.

Yeah, Ibaka doesn't get enough love. If it wasn't for Chandler, Ibaka is easily the DPOY. This year, I'd say he's playing better defensively than Chandler. And obviously offensively, he's taken it up a notch or 2 with the improved jumpshot.
