How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
Clowney is a psychology!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE9RNMJViVs&sns=em What idiot blew this assignment. Also there was a sick catch that I saw a highlight off. Guy caught it in the back of the endzone with one hand. Can't remember teams. Does anyone know? Post video please |

"How doesnt this"
:facepalm I blame ISH for not having an app. Just because |
Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
The context surrounding the play makes it even better. Michigan converts a very controversial first down and the refs don't measure. Clowney takes the ball and gives it back to its rightful owner.
I love how he just scoops it up with one hand :lol |

That's funny as hell. I missed the games. I was so hungover I just slept all day. |
Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
He was pretty well handled before that too. Taylor Lewan made some money in that game.

Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
that player, Jadeveon Clowney, would be a top-3 pick if he was draft eligible this year
maybe number 1 overall |

He's the best pass rusher since Julius Peppers. He probably would have been a 1st round pick straight out of high school. |

That's not really how it happened. Michigan ran a fake punt. It was very close and the officials did measure. The controversy came when it appeared by the angle of the ESPN camera that the ball was short of the marker, but the officials signaled a first down. It was one of the stranger moments I have seen during a game. On the replay, it actually did look like the Michigan player reached the first down marker and it should have been a first down (South Carolina challenged the spot), but where the officials marked it and on the measurement, it appeared about a centimeter short. So, yes, it was controversial, but I thought the mark was a little in SC's favor in the first place and, if anything, it would have been moved in Michigan's favor on the replay of the spot. But, as we can see, it was all for nothing. Clowney was actually very quiet all day long. Taylor Lewan kept him bottled up for the vast majority of the first three quarters. But, he played a big role down the stretch. He had another really hard hit on Michigan's go-ahead scoring drive. Kid is a beast. He needs to figure out how to have that motor going at all times, though, and not just when he feels like it. |

Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
here is a data base of mocks
http://www.walterfootball.com/draftdata.php most have Geno going #1 and yes I understand he is a weak prospect, but when you need a QB you need a QB...hard to wait on that position |

http://www.catscratchreader.com/2013...ine-mock-draft If the Chiefs take Geno Smith... :facepalm Seems like most of these mocks have the Browns taking Damontre Moore. I'm fine with it if he plays OLB in the 4-3. If we try to make a switch back to the 3-4, I might kill myself. |
Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
That wasn't his draft, "Walter", it was just a collection of other people's mocks all over the internet
|
Re: How doesnt this hit get its own thread?!
Damontre can play as a 4-3 defensive end, IMO. Something I think you need badly opposite of Sheard.
