NFL Playoffs GT: Divisional Round

NFC
Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks @ Atlanta Falcons

AFC
Baltimore Ravens @ Denver Broncos
Houston Texans @ New England Patriots

My favorite round of the playoffs. It looks like we will see a couple of elite defenses going up against elite offenses in the NFC. Rodgers going up against the team that passed on him in the draft. Will Atlanta prove to the world that they are not frauds vs a red hot Seahawks team?

In the AFC you have Ray Lewis going up against Peyton Manning for the last time, will this be Lewis' last game? Denver seems better, but don't count out the experienced Baltimore team. Then you have Patriots vs Texans, how will Houston respond after that embarrassing loss to New England a few weeks back?

I personally think the Seahawks and Patriots win by 10 or more. Seahawks are a matchup nightmare for the Falcons & the Texans are not ready for the stage.

Packers vs 49ers is the one I'm most interested about, love seeing an elite defense going up against and elite offense. And Rodgers still hasn't forgotten SF passed on him in the draft. Baltimore will keep it close vs Denver, but I like the Broncos to pull it off in the end.

Good Luck Houston... I'll be rooting for you.

New England must be stopped.

49ers in a classic.
Falcons in a chokejob.

Broncos in a blowout.
Patriots in a bigger blowout.

This is pretty much what I see happening, except I think the Broncos vs Ravens game will be somewhat close.

Not to mention the Falcons are notorious playoff chokers. They've gotten sodomized two years in a row in the playoffs :oldlol: Maybe they finally shake the choker label, but I don't see it happening.

Falcons also have a horrible Rush D, I expect Lynch & Wilson to have big games on the ground. Just a horrible matchup for Atlanta IMO.

I'm thinking that the 49ers/Packers game is pretty much the NFC Championship.

49ers handled Green Bay comfortably week one but that was with Smith at the help who orchestrated a brilliant game. I'm not confident in Kaepernick at all and I think going up against Webb(even if he's the WOAT) gives them some practice against Kaepernick. Kaepernick's been pretty lucky and he doesn't have the qualities of a SB winning QB yet(mistake prone, mismanages game clock, looks to scramble constantly, etc)

I would give my left nut to see Smith come in and save the day for the niners though :oldlol:

Almost everyone thinks Seattle's gonna win. I think Atlanta is gonna win by 10+. My man crush on Julio Jones might be affecting my brain though.
