Pau Gasol takes like 6 three pointers a game and makes zero. He can't play in the post or play defense. Ryan Anderson would spread the floor. The reason super man looks human is because teams double him down low. And they are not threatened by Pau's inconsistent jump shot. Ryan Anderson would be open every possession because teams close to foul Howard and with one defender Dwight would be more likely to get and 1s.

The salaries don't even match. The Hornets would have to throw in another player to make it work.

Pau Gasol - 32 years old
Ryan Anderson - 24 years old

Realistically I am at work and this site isn't particularly lucrative on a cell phone. But I stand by the Lakers should go for Anderson at all costs.

Jordan Hill to the Hawks for Anthony Morrow to the Lakers.

The Lakers get a shooter to help spread the floor.
The Hawks clear out time for Jenkins to get some run (which he needs) and the Hawks get a backup big in Hill, which we need badly.

Contracts are similar.

I could see New Orleans making use of Pau Gasol. He's better than Anderson tho Anderson fits better on the Lakers.
