Chicago would probably only trade Deng in a Lebron trade. That's it. He's entirely too valuable to them.

doesnt make sense for boston. if they trade pierce and garnet, they are rebuilding , why would take on on almost 30 year old deng for 15m a year and 30 year old hinrich.

You can always flip Deng...he's only got 1 year left on his deal and he's still got way more years left than Pierce or KG.

Pierce for Deng is something the Bulls would be retarded not to do. Pierce is still much better and he's not a second scorer, he's a second 1st option, and he has a jumpshot. Thibs would make so much use of him.


And they'd still have Butler behind him. That's why I think Deng is tradeable.

Terrible for Boston, regardless. Tho Pierce for Deng would be great for Chicago.

I'd do it. What's Pierce's contract situation though? Would he be willing to resign for less? KG for Taj straight up is **** rape for the Celtics. The Celtics say hell no.

Pierce is making $16Million but he can opt out, I think? Or the team has the option. Not sure. But if he stays thru the contract, he's signed until 2014.


By then, Butler is more than good enough to be a starter. He can play.
