NFL Considering Wider Field, Should NBA Consider Bigger Court?

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-sh...4198--nfl.html

NBA players play on the same sized court that smaller athletes played on in the 50's....thoughts?

Widen the court, yes, the ISO game would be insane. Imagine Bron with MORE room to operate?

My father and I had been saying this for years. The game is almost too compact for awhile now with how long, and fast these athletes are

I don't think NFL or NBA should have bigger fields/courts. In fact, I preferred in-door league football over NFL because of the field size and number of players on the field.

Widen the court and move the 3PT line back.

I don't know, maybe.

But they need to widen the area between cameraman and game action.

Put sleeves on the jerseys, make the court wider, raise the hoop to 15 feet, and make the ball square.

No. Don't make the ****ing court wider. Why do we insist on trying to fix what isn't broken?

NFL players have gotten much bigger in size over the years, and they are considering it due to the amount of injuries and lawsuits the NFL is facing.

NBA players have pretty much remained the same over years, despite the uninformed claiming that everyone was a 5'5" white guy in the 1960s. No the NBA should not change its court at all.

Why don't they just eliminate defense from both leagues?

The court needs to be wider. There is no room for players driving from the sideline if they choose to square up behind the 3 pt line.

Why not institute off sides penalties and let the center be the official goal tender?

How would the NBA do that? They'd have to do construction on every NBA arena.
