Re: 2013 World Baseball Classic Thread
baseball is turrible.
no athleticism, no excitement, no skills. hit ball with bat, run. hope your ball went far enough to get you to a base. EVERYONE ELSE, stand still and see if the ball goes to you. play ball. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBE8xjUvZso yeah none of that took any athleticism at all... let alone throwing a ball at 100mph making it drop and curve all different types of directions. or hitting a ball that it traveling 100mph over 400'. just because your father never taught you how to throw or catch like a man doesn't mean baseball takes no athleticism or skill. |
Re: 2013 World Baseball Classic Thread
I just hope that none of the Jays playing in this get hurt. I honestly don't give one damn as to who wins this. Bring on the regular season.

Re: 2013 World Baseball Classic Thread
I tried to look into tickets for the finals in SF, but they were a tad too expensive for me. Ken Rosenthal had a column about the WBC today addressing some of the detractors, I believe he said the finals were the 6th most watched television event worldwide during the last tournament.

Chien-Ming Wang pitched well last night, but again he pitched against Australia. I think he will find the way back to MLB again.

Might go to a few games out in Scottsdale or Chase field, not sure yet.
Not a big baseball fan, but if the tickets are cheap, why the hell not. |
Re: 2013 World Baseball Classic Thread
