What I would do if I was the GM of every team...
These are what I believe all the teams in the draft SHOULD do, not what they WILL do.
1. Toronto- Marcus Williams 2. Chicago- Andrea Bargnani 3. Charlotte- Brandon Roy 4. Portland- Adam Morrison 5. Atlanta- LaMarcus Aldridge 6. Minnesota- Rudy Gay 7. Boston- Patrick O’Bryant 8. Houston- JJ Redick 9. Golden State- Tyrus Thomas 10. Seattle- Shelden Williams 11. Orlando- Randy Foye 12. New Orleans- Cedric Simmons 13. Philadelphia- Kyle Lowry 14. Utah- Rodney Carney 15. New Orleans- Ronnie Brewer 16. Chicago- Quincy Douby 17. Indiana- Sergio Rodriguez 18. Washington- Hilton Armstrong 19. Sacramento- Rajon Rondo 20. New York- Shawne Williams 21. Phoenix- Mouhamed Saer Sene 22. New Jersey- Olexsiy Pecherov 23. New Jersey- Darius Washington Jr. 24. Memphis- Shannon Brown 25. Cleveland- Jordan Farmar 26. LA Lakers- Gerry McNamara 27. Phoenix- James White 28. Dallas- Steve Novak 29. New York- Leon Powe 30. Portland- Alexander Johnson I don't think Marcus Williams is the best player in the draft but I think he is the best fit for the Rapters. I think the five biggest steals for where I have them draft are: Randy Foye, Rudy Gay, Steve Novak, James White, and Shawne Williams. I couldn't find teams that needed them any higher up. I'm sure a lot of y'all will disagree with me but if you tell me a pick where you think I'm wrong and who you would pick in that instance, I will give you my logic. Thanks again. |
Why would the Lakers draft McNamara? He wouldn't help them out one bit, especially when they are high on James White.

bulls
bulls-Bargnani? Thomas or Aldridge would make bigger improvements. They need someone who plays the frontcourt with tougness, not some dirk wannabe. Not saying he cant be good, just not good for bulls. Also marcus williams is going to be a terrible pt. guard in the nba. You show me a 6-2, 6-3 pt. guard in the nba with 13% body fat. He wont create his own shots. He'll be flat out terrible.

I think Marcus Williams will set up Villeneuva and Bosh with great shots for years to come so that is I geuss where we differ. Body fat % is just a number as far as I'm concered cause the kid can play. I liked Bargnani to the Bulls as a potential dominant frontcourt scorer. Right now all they really have in the frontcourt is Sweetney and Chandeler and neither of them will ever be big time scoreers. I like McNamara to the Lakes because of what he can do when surrounded by talent. Do you remember McNamara his freshman year when he had Carmello and Warrick on his wings? He was a big time player and I think he can eventually start at point for the Lakers.
