Meh. After Andrew Wiggins gets to the NBA, I'm hyping Harry Giles.
And I will end up being 2 for 2.

Just saw him on YouTube, he's a beast. Giles is ranked No. 2 in the class of '16 while Woods is No. 5   DeRon Davis is No. 1, but he looks pretty slow from looking at him play.
seventh woods? parents be on crack when naming
sir, what wud u want your seventh kid to be named?

Giles is a freak, if he grows dude will literally be the next KG.
But I think Malik Monk is going to surprise a lot of people, he's currently in the USA basketball program too
Jashaun WON'T make the league and I've been saying it for years.
It's a damn shame that people like his father exist out there... psychotically pushing him to do this rather than focus on educating himself and becoming a productive member of society... chances are he's going to end up bagging groceries once he realizes he is not NBA level talent.
What he has right now is a result of an incredible amount of work put into practicing his game. That is soon going to not matter once he starts going up against insane athletes. He's not making the NBA.
His dad is trying to live vicariously through him and it's going to end up costing Jashaun a lot.
Interesting. You might want to read the articles written from ESPN..Link attatched. Some of yall couldn't be more wrong! Size would matter to a normal human. Jashaun Agosto, obviously is far from normal. I don't believe you can get to the level he has gotten to just being pushed by your parent. Looks like he loves the game and can go as far as he wants to go!
Jashaun Agosto's father is an ass, seriously.
It's so wrong to expose your kid that way, the kid has been hearing for years about how amazing he is and how he's going to the NBA and all kind of stuff.
The kid is great but he's too short and it's not very likely that he will grew enough to even have the standard body of an NBA player.
The kid will instead have to deal with failing at the one thing that mattered and his dad is going to have to deal with it in a better way then what he dealt with all this.
Jashaun Agosto, obviously is far from normal. Even with his size of 5 foot 8, he is one inch shorter than Nate Robinson & Isaiah Thomas, and he is only a freshman. Jashaun is ranked on all the major ranking sites in the top 50 Nationally even at his size. I don't believe you can get to the level he has gotten to just being pushed by your parent. If you follow him on Twitter @JashaunAgosto you will also find out that over 12 division I colleges have been recruiting him up to this point. From UCLA, Arizona, Gonzaga, Memphis, Oregon State, UW, Detroit, Tulsa, Penn State, Seattle U, Rice, George Mason, etc....As a freshman, that's impressive.
It's really sad, I remember seeing these videos like 5+ years ago.
I think he is a good athlete though. He was running sub 5 minute miles at 10 years old and is a track star.
Unfortunately the most important factor regarding the NBA is size and athletisicm, not skills. Anyone can get skills, but size and elite athleticism is what really turns scouts head.
Jashaun has a 39 inch vertical and posted faster agility times and sprint times than any incoming rookie in the nba draft combine. Did you say elite athleticism? And he is only 15 yrs old. The link has video proof from this year!

^^^^
Doesn't Jashaun live in Seattle? You must be his dad or something since you're also from Seattle and you're defending him so much.

I'm not blaming this on you but that's not true. He ran sub 5:00 1500m which is over 100m short of a mile. His dad and other people put that out there as if he ran miles that fast but he didn't. If you are a runner you would know that 1500m time does not equal mile time.

You've got to be kidding right? How many "elite" high schoolers have we seen never make it to the NBA? How many first round draft choices are out of the league after their rookie contracts are up? Get a grip buddy. There's a long hard road to travel between the age of 15 and the NBA. If you don't know this then you're a moron. You do realize that agility tests and vertical mean nothing right? How did Kevin Duran fare at the combine? Not well. He couldn't bench 185 his vert was 33" and he was slow in the lane agility tests. Did any of that matter? No.
Those names. :facepalm
Guybrush Threpwood, future Nba all-star center.
People act like the NBA is the only place to play basketball , Like it's NBA or bag groceries :coleman:
If the dude is good enough, he'll play somewhere and make alot of money playing. You can complain about his Dad, but the guy is doing alot more for his son than the majority of deadbeats who leech off their Son's athletic ability.
If Agosto can grow up to about just under 6 feet, he can become a decent NBA player.
Seventh Woods is a beast already. If he keeps it up, he can be the new Andrew Wiggins.
But Andrew Wiggins is not in the NBA.

Yeah. A childhood filled with hard work is better than one filled with sorrow. This kid's dad is pushing him...and he may be missing out on the just chillaxin and playing video games with friends, etc. Or he could of had the misfortune of being born into a family with a drug using mother, and a dad that wasn't around. Kid will be fine. Eventually everyone outgrows overbearing parents, but he'll still have the skills from it. Kid could come over here to Korea where I am right now and make 25,000 a month and live an amazing life. It's def not NBA or bust. Playing basketball and making money is a dream for many people. Being smart with that money is a diff ballgame tho.
