So is anyone taking the Raptors garbage contracts tonight?

No?

Damn, too bad.

Thanks for your "legacy", Colangelo.

Terrible GM.

Tonight is the night Ujiri learns that even stripping this team apart would be a miracle. Can't trade any of our "top" talent outside of Val to get into the weakest draft in years. Jesus.

Klow becomes the 3rd best guard in the Atlantic because the Pelicans raped the 76ers.

NNoel - with questions galore evidently about potential stress fractures and posse - for Jrue ? Seriously ? Wow

Great trade for Philly.

Forget about staying mediocre, risk it on the high ceiling talent, blow it up and TANK.

The Bucks took a shooting forward and and overseas project at that ? Antetok....

Seriously I know I am not a GM but where the H - e - double hockey sticks does that fit ???

Now rumors said the Raptors wanted him lower in the draft !

Do we think there is a Bargnani to Bucks trade with draft pick thrown back in a package ??? I was calling the Bucks as a destination a month ago...

I am wondering does "rights to Monta + Pick = Barges and say Landry ?" Or Barges and something else like Linus ?

Call 911 another rape in progress.

Minny gets Muhammad and Dieng for Trey Burke ??? Wow..

Talk about giving Love and Rubio some pieces to play with.

Agree to disagree mate.

I think Jrue is far from mediocre... and I think you will see it in NO.

Jrue might not be Deron or Rondo... but if I had to build a team and needed an elite lite PG that was say my 3rd big contract I would seriously consider Jrue as being that guy.

NN is 10 times more likely to flame out than Jrue

Hold your breath... here comes the Knicks BOOOOOO

Could this be the realistic "deal" that gets the Raps into the draft ?

Gawd not the Knicks..... all those trades and players to and from the Knicks never does anything for Toronto... not just Landry... going back to Isah's days... to Camby

Nope not the Knicks wheeeww..

They actually got good value (BOOO) but still dont have PG depth now Kidd is gone and I dont see the Knicks "making do" with NBDL talent. Maybe Tim Jr can play on and off the ball... tho I dont see it.

Happy to see the Knicks take a step backwards everyday !

Who doesn't want a 7 foot three point shooter who has no heart and drive, can't rebound or play defense and has injury concerns.

Isiah Canaan goes to the Rockets. Damn... 2nd rounder I get it but I think he was the player I hoped the Raptors could move into somewhere. PG - ball possession - scoring spark.

I have no illusions the guy is great; and its not like I watched all the Murray State games or anything... but saw clips and read the mock write ups...

Thought this was just the kind of guy JL3 only "better" as purified on the ball 1 - that would back up a Klow. A nice talent in depth and fit.

Si.com says this...

New Orleans Pelicans: One of the major talking points entering Thursday was how many — if any — of this year’s prospects had the potential to develop into All-Stars. While everyone else waits a few years to find out the answer to that question, the Pelicans landed a franchise point guard in Jrue Holiday who, at just 23, is already a certified All-Star. He will have a harder time getting back to the midseason classic now that he’s in the Western Conference, but Holiday took a major step forward last season, posting career highs across the board and carrying an otherwise sad-sack Sixers team as far as he could.

The sweet part about acquiring Holiday, though, is his contract. Signed to a four-year, $41 million rookie extension last fall, it’s important to remember that the clock on that deal starts ticking in 2013-14. In other words, he’s locked in for four full seasons at a very reasonable rate.

Re: So is anyone taking the Raptors garbage contracts tonight?

I liked this deal for both teams. NO is looking very good to make a jump now with Jrue, Gordon and Davis. The key for Philly is that they aren't even close to competing. In addition to getting a guy that was projected to go #1 this year, they got NO's #1 next year (which could very well be a top lotto pick).

Good chance Philly had 2 very high picks next year and the most balls for wiggins.

I really wish the raps could be in a similar position.
