Carl Landry declines player option for Warriors
Six-year veteran forward Carl Landry has declined his player option on the final year of his contract with the Golden State Warriors for the 2013-14 NBA season and is now an unrestricted free agent, the team announced today.
Landry, 29, originally signed as a free agent with Golden State on August 1, 2012, and appeared in 81 regular-season games this past season, averaging 10.8 points and a career-high 6.0 rebounds in 23.2 minutes per contest. In 12 playoff games, the 6’9” forward averaged 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.5 minutes per game.
