I mess around in a laboratory at a healthcare branch thing.

I got my job from having friends and a mom working at the main Hospital.

Physician assistant. Found my interest in medicine while in the Army. Got discharged, went to community college, then transferred to a four year university and here I am. Get moving.

I started at the bottom and I'm still at the bottom. I heard the best way to get one was to know somebody and I dont know anybody with a job.

School career website. I got lucky though because I was ready to give up on my new job search until I heard back from them. But to be honest, you need to know people to get a job. You have to hit up your friends and relatives and see if they are hiring otherwise you are just another Resume.

I think I saw a posting on careerbuilder or one of those websites and applied.

I recently switch careers. I was a quality control specialist at Hutchinson Technologies in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The drive was getting to me because I live in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area so now I'm a Medical Service Coordinator at Logistics Health Inc. Hoping to get a Lead position soon, but to get int othat company you have to get hired through a third party company called ABR to evaluate you.

I've been to La Crosse a few times for work. Nice downtown with a college town type of feel. Still too cold....

I'm trying to get in a lab at the local hospital too. I don't know anybody in there though.

Been calling them every couple of weeks. Same answer, we'll let the recruiter know about your resume.

They haven't sent me a rejection letter yet, so I guess there's still a little hope.

The downtown area at night isn't much for me. I don't like a lot of people in a small area, I don't like a bunch of college kids getting drunk and it's known as a drinking town. I can't tell you how many times I've spoken to soldiers over the phone that come up to Fort McCoy for Annual Training and they're like "I've been to LAX! Great drinking town!"

But your description of the city/town is perfect.

My cousin told me the company he worked for was hiring. I applied and got hired the same day. It's a small security guard company. Nothing worth bragging about. The place I work at right now is 50 miles away from my house. Should this place, which is a distribution warehouse, decide they no longer need security, I'm f*cked.
The only other posts my company has are over 90 miles away from my house. I already feel like shit driving 100 miles a day (50 miles each way), so 180+ would just be insane.

I am a project manager. I guess I was lucky one of the previous people I interned with knew people in the section I was interviewing with. They put a good word in for me and the rest is history.
