College transfers: Does your GPA start over if you transfer to a new university?

I was just wondering because by the time I transfer from my county college to North Texas University, I will have atleast a 3.0, probably around a 3.3 or 3.4

So, when I transfer, will my GPA start all over therefore making my County College GPA pretty much void?

Ask your Guidance counseler. But I'm pretty sure your GPA carries over just like if you transfer high schools your gpa stays with you.

Yes. Only credit transfers over, not the grade. You start with a 0.0 GPA at UNT.
