Greatest QB performance you've ever seen

It was mentioned on Frst Take today how Steve Young said Vick's 2010 MNF game against Washington was the best QB performance he'd seen. 20 for 28, 333 yards, 4 TDs with 0 INTs, and 8 rushes for 8 yards and 2 TDs. 150 QB rating.

What's the best you've seen? What defined it? The stats or maybe a game winning drive that was perfect? Pressure packed numbers? Maybe a SB performance that was second to none?

The best where I have watched the entire game? Stafford against the Browns in 2009. 5 touchdowns, 422 yards. Capped off by throwing the game winning touchdown with a fcking separated shoulder.

mic'd up is an interesting watch.

Favre vs the Raiders on MNF after his dad passed was one of the best I've ever seen. Not because of his statline per se (still 399 yards, 4 TD) but some of the passes and how they dropped perfectly into his receivers who sometimes had a DB draped on them. The passes were just magical, the emotional implications made it even moreso. Transcending stuff

Vick's game versus Washington was impressive, no doubt. I remember him making some pretty sweet throws. However, our defense was shit that season and Landry had no business playing Free Safety in the NFL, at least within that scheme. The entire game was so dejected that the Redskins brought nothing to the table after falling behind 21-0. Vick barely had to exert his skillset to score on those 2 rushing TDs. They pretty much gave up before the first half ended because that team was awful.

i remember watching that 2010 MNF game with Vick going apeshit under Reid's offensive power. then i drafted him the following year with my #1 pick. what a major let down.

definitely was one of the best performances i've ever seen from the QB position.

Aaron Rodgers vs. the Falcons in the playoffs, 2011. From a pure passing perspective, it was the most complete and dominant effort I've ever seen. I think he was like 32-36 or something like that. And the whole array of passes. It was like a vintage Kobe offensive performance.

Yeah that was my second choice but i didnt want to sound like too much of a homer :lol. I think it was as close as perfect as you can get.

Jesus. I remember that game. We had like a 24-0 lead. The Browns were led by the immortal Brady Quinn in that game. :facepalm

Jan 3, 1993. Frank Reich comes in for an injured Jim Kelly and leads Buffalo to what is still the biggest post season comeback in history. 38-3 run in the second half and OT to beat Houston.

No idea what his stats were, but it remains to this day the most incredibly compelling half of football I've ever seen, and I'm a fan of neither team. Just the fact that this obscure backup could engineer an historicasl comeback will always stick in my mind.

FYI- while at Maryland in 1984, Reich came off the bench to drive a 42-9 second half vs Miami, beating the Canes 42-40. Until 2006 (when Mich St broke the record) he had engineered the biggest comebacks in the history of both NCAA D1 and NFL football.
