Arnett Moultrie sidelined at least 2 months
Arnett Moultrie is back on the shelf.
The 76ers power forward is not expected to play “until some time in the new year” after injuring the medial malleolus of his left ankle. He had surgery on Thursday.
This isn’t the first time the second-year player was hampered with an ankle injury.

Re: Arnett Moultrie sidelined at least 2 months
Rookie center Nerlens Noel is rehabbing from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament and not expected to return to game action until December, if at all this season.
Brown, 31, and Allen, 24, are in the final year of contracts that will pay them each approximately $3 million this season. The Sixers have team options on Moultrie, a first-round draft pick in 2012 who will turn 23 before he returns to the court, for each of the next two seasons.
