And people wonder why he's a career loser that shouldn't be picked over Duncan, Garnett and Dirk.

1. He was in his 4th year.
2. Not sure why I am responding. Instead of creating intelligent arguments, you posted a bunch of garbage accusations and statements. It will be a lot more rewarding if you actually work towards meaningful discussions. Coherent arguments should be step 1 for you.

That's not gonna happen anytime soon :lol

Yep...Charles single-handedly lost all those series.

Same as MJ did in his first six seasons in the league.

Check out the players PEAK Charles Barkley garnered for the Sixers:

June 17, 1992: Traded by the Philadelphia 76ers to the Phoenix Suns for Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang and Tim Perry.

His attitude and play just isn't conducive to winning. He'd be a great drinking buddy I'm sure.. just not good enough as a franchise player because of said tendencies (not even talking about defense).

the thread was about being ringless. idc if he only faced MJ one time. that one time they met in the finals was the time Barkley had a good team around him. anyone else but MJ and he would have had a ring, thereby not being a career loser like OP posited. maybe just a one time winner, but a winner nonetheless. MJ made a lot of HOF players ringless.

He's one of the greatest offensive players (and rebounders) ever. What about that isn't "conducive to winning"?

See Kevin Love.

There's more to the game than raw scoring and rebounding (statpadding).

Bill Russell never worked on basketball in the off season either, for the exact same reasons Barkley stated (to prevent burnout and to recover mentally/physically). God what a loser he turned out to be.

Different/weaker era, hard to compare. Correct me if I'm wrong: Did elite players back then have careers outside of basketball during downtime/off-season?

Also, lets not act like Russell wasn't a sub 45 FG% big man that barely scored over double digits.
