Interesting article on Nene and Barbosa...

Brazil and Team USA are in the same bracket in the 10-team Americas Championship.

While Nene is not expected to play this summer, Barbosa believes Nene could be the missing link to Brazil making the Olympics.

"It's still not right," Barbosa said of Nene's relationship with CBB. "And because it's still not right, it's not getting better. He doesn't want to go. What I told him is you don't have to think about what is right and what is wrong.

"I think we just got to go and play basketball, qualify for big tournaments and think about our friends there right now in Brazil who need a job to play basketball. We got to help those guys. And the only way to help is to play for the national team and bring Brazil up."

Barbosa is the nicest, most innocent guy in the league. Anyone that cries when Marbury gets traded is one nice guy.

Yah, He wasnt used to players getting traded and he really looked up to Marbury when he came to Phoenix. Marbury actually brought Barbosa under his wing and bought him a new car and stuff.

Doesn't surprise me coming from Leandro. One of the nicest you will ever see.

Yeah, he and Steph were real tight. Steph did a lot for Leandro his rookie year, and you can see similarities in their game if you watch close enough. Most noteably, Leandro cradles the ball on the way to the hoop just like Steph.
