ot: i need help
 

okay i am an awol army soldier, i went awol because my wife ended up getting cirvical cancer during my basic training, and the recruiters lied about everything. i just found out i need $2000 to get a lawyer and he can get me out, but until then there is a federal warrant out for me. anybody know anything i dont? or can help me anyway with advice?

I've seen people ask for medical advice here. I've seen weight training discussions, and car repair. But never before have I seen someone go onto a bball forum wanting advice on military law. What would we know that a lawyer would not? If your story is true...good luck, but I'd bet money that no one on this forum is going to tell you anything a trained legal professional wouldn't. And by the way, if your story is true (and I doubt it) then you're an idiot. "My wife has cancer? Oh no! Wait, if I run away from basic training and hide from the feds on the Insidehoops messageboard, everything will be fine!" Some slacker that couldn't make **** out of himself, thought that joining the military would be an easy way out (which, when you consider the situations in Iraq and Afghanistan and the potential crises in Iran, Korea, and to a lesser extent, Venezuela, is monumentally stupid...there is nothing easy about being a soldier), couldn't hack basic training, and ran away. Either you're a liar or a lazy halfwit. Probably both. Either way, you just won the....(drumroll, please)

it is true and i left 3 days before graduation because of my wife, i went in as a specialist because of my 4 year degree in GIS, to be a 21u topographic analyst, just because they brainwashed your dumb ass doesnt mean i am a loser ****.

Seriously, I don't know if you know about this but its called an I.P. address and they can easily track that.

this is absolutely retarded. The US army is using PleezeBelieve to track Awol soldiers on the ISH messageboard. Cmon people. Get a clue.

On the other hand, I had a friend who went awol from the Navy and ended up getting dishonorably discharged when they caught up with him a year or so later. Not during wartime however. Good luck man, wish I could give you some advice.

You need help, and you're not going to find it on a basketball message board. Go to a lawyer, and if you can't afford that, turn yourself in.

I'm Air Force. I don't get why you left the military when they pay for all your medical. It would seem to me that you didn't think that one out. Your wife having cancer would have been taken care of and you wouldn't have paid a cent. It would all have been covered.

By the way, there is no lawyer that is going to get you out of this. The MP's when they put their hands on you are going to let you know what deserters get for leaving. Levinworth is pretty much where you'll end up. The Jarheads will make a Marine out of you there. Good luck.

This is a simple problem, these guys are all giving you a hard time.

What you need to do is make a thread in the main forum and name it "Kobe's Legal Problems."

In your opening post, substitute the word "Kobe" instead of writing "I", "me," or "my wife."

Knowing about getting out of the Army. Your wife is ill, you could always have an emotional and mental breakdown. Thay then got to release you.

ps, if you have panic attacks you aint allowed in the army.
