He could make sense depending on what they had to give up. Contract through next year. Plays in a similar system. I'd have no problem giving up Burke for him. Maybe Booker. Pleiss. The rights to Tomic. The OKC pick. Cap space. Some 2nd round picks.

Better? Yes. Significantly better? No. I feel like he'd max average 21.5 PPG and not much more. He just doesn't have that "it" factor to go get his own. I thought Hayward was supposed to be our clutch guy this year, but now it looks like that's Rodney Hood's role; he isn't afraid to get the ball and either succeed or fail while Hayward is content to just stand by and let Hood do his thing

He's better just not a go to guy. Yeah Hood, Burks and Burke all have more of a scorer mentality.

Will he ever be consistent is the question?
Reggie Jackson was more than the Jazz could handle. He hit on 12 of 19 from the field and had 29 including a huge three late in the game that clinched it for the Pistons.
Neto might have made a difference there.
The Jazz are not defending the three point line well.
Like defensive rebounding it has been a problem for a long time.
