Re: Best shooting guard in the league?
REALLY????
Anyway the best sg In the league right now is demar derozan and its not even close. He better get some MVP votes. A more efficient kobe that likes to pass.
If you ignore the most essential qualities, doesn't that make him not like Kobe at all? This is like saying "Curry is a perimeter oriented Shaq that can make free throws."
Re: Best shooting guard in the league?
Harden
Butler
Thompson
DeRozan

So because Derozan plays the same position as Kobe, they are very comparable despite differing on the qualities that are most characteristic of Kobe?
Re: Best shooting guard in the league?
Ehh no way Derozan is that high
1. Harden
2. Jimmy Buckets
3. Klay
4. Derozan
5. Wade
6. McCollum
Please state reasons why.
A more efficient kobe that likes to pass.
Simply not true. I question at times if he's passing enough. He's become a really good draw and kicker, but he doesn't have the playmaking Kobe had in his prime. Kobe was a legit triple threat player too, could hurt from anywhere on the floor, better mid-range, better 3 point shooter, got to the line more, better post moves, etc...

the correlation I was making was that they do indeed play the same position. idk what you are smoking but you need to seek rehab. comparing shaq to curry????:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

nobody said anything about playmaking.......he's a great and willing passer. Kobe never was and never will be a playmaker..idk why fans of certain player always try and make their favorite player something they never were. Just stop it....kobe was a great player but he was nothing of a playmaker...playmakers don't stop being playmakers......if you don't believe me....why does andre miller till have a job in the nba at the age of 60? lol

:biggums:
You just went full retard. A more efficient Kobe would be something like MJ.
And BTW even the efficient part isn't true. From 2000 until 2013 Kobe shot better than the 44.5 FG% that DeMar is shooting in all but 3 years. And on a bigger volume.

By that logic every SG is a "Kobe with..." or "Kobe without..." That is a dumb comparison. :facepalm
My example of Shaq to Curry was to point out how dumb your comparison was by showing an example of another bad comparison. I'm sorry you are too stupid to understand that. You need to seek education.

I didn't know logic was taking someones opinion and claiming it to be a fact. If you feel he isn't a more efficient kobe...that's fine. But you too stupid to understand that "LOGIC". Keep comparing shaq to curry though. That was beautiful.

Cool.....I didn't know mj was still in the league. Who does he play for now? For the LAST time I was comparing derozan to a current SG.......meaning a sg that's still playing.......
OH AND SG STANDS FOR SHOOTING GUARD.

Re: Best shooting guard in the league?
You all have your arguments, but it's probably because i can't really stand Harden but even when i try to think objectively, i can't put him in front of Butler. What has Harden done, especially this season, to be considered better than Jimmy overall, let's exclude his recent knee problems. He refuses to put some effort on defense, he doesn't care about it and he sometimes seems careless and out of rythm, he's a talented offensive player, i'll give him that, and he was really good last season, but even then, one of the biggest comebacks happened with him chilling on the sidelines.
Jimmy has more heart, passion and i don't even have to talk about defense. He may not be as naturally talented offensive player as Harden, but he works his ass off, he improved so much and from a defensive specialist he became their legit number 1 option on offense. Give me Butler over Harden every time.
