And 1 wins 2006 Tour Opener!
Wassup Message Board?!
I just caught the opening game of the Mixtape tour yesterday in L.A., and it was Hot!!! The players were available about and hour before the game to meet, greet, sign autographs, or just say wassup. They gave away DVDs, basketballs, posters, etc. Hot Sauce made his return and had a great back-and-forth battle with West Coast rapper, The Game! Game gave Sauce a run for his money but Sauce pulled off a few new trick and left Game hanging out to dry a couple of times. Game had nice handles and got 4 or 5 two-hand dunks. AO, Sauce, Main Event, Baby Shack, Professor and Go Get It were off the hook, but the star of the show was new And1 member The Air Up There. He had some unbelievable, high-flying, sick dunks, including one at the end of the game, where he took one dribble from the free-throw line, and did a 360, between the legs dunk that shut the place down. The game was great, the crowd was hyped, and it was all good. Rapper E-40 performed at halftime and had the crowd going bananas! Sik Wit It, Spyda, High Octane, Pharmacist, and Prime Objective were not there. Escalade was there , but wasn't suited up, but they were not missed. If you haven't gotten your tix yet, don't miss out! By the way, And1 beat Team L.A. by 16 points. |

Greg,
Team And1 wore black jerseys and shorts with bright green letters and numbers. Team L.A. wore white uniforms with the green trim. They had the new jerseys for sale at the concession stands for $60 each. |
