Lakers sign Farmar

They signed him to a two year deal at $1.9M. So hopefully he will earn his pay.

im sure he wont be playing that much this season if we get another point guard, and if we dont...Phil has no other choice then to play this rookie, or give Smush 40 min. a game...which will not happen, EVER

2 years guaranteed with team options for the 3rd and 4th year. All rookie contracts are structured like that.

I just heard quincy douby signed a 5 year deal with the kings...thats crazy.

also dont forget we have sasha who is a pg also.

i think Jordan should be given a consistent 5 mpg but must play every game until he shows signs of knowledge of the triangle. then from there we give him more time if he's good.

A 5 year contract? I don't think they can do that. Rookie contracts are set in stone, or so I thought. Salaries are determined by where you are taken. Years and options are set in the CBA. First round is gauranteed. Second round is not.

theres no way douby signed a 5yr deal but who knows anyways farmar is gonna be crazy good hes athletic and he fits into the triangle well the thing he really needs to work on is his shotting cuz thats his true weakness other then bulk
