I've come to accept Brady is the GOAT. Not just GOAT QB, but GOAT player.

Looking at it logically, his longevity, the awards, the numbers, the championships, the comebacks, etc.

He clearly has the best combination of all the areas you look at.

I'm gonna enjoy watching him while he's still around playing like this.

Rodgers has a chance to equal him but we are 7+ more years of elite play from Rodgers before that discussion begins.

I was thinking the other day that Brady & the Patriots dynasty has been going on for 17+ years now, almost as long as the 49ers amazing run from '81-'98, but that team went through two QBs in Montana & Young.

Brady will be the only QB in history to be on two All-Decade teams.

Agreed

I still think GOAT QB is debatable...GOAT player would have him vs Rice/Brown

IDK I'd have to really analyze the shit out of it.

I think you could argue that Peyton should be the 2000-2009 first team QB though.

If you're looking at longetivity and numbers, Rice is so far ahead of everybody else at the WR position that he has to get the nod as best player.

Brady is GOAT QB no doubt. You're years late to the party.

I wouldn't have a problem with that.

I assumed either Elway or Marino were on two All-Decade teams, but I was wrong. Elway was only on the 90's team & Marino didn't make either the 80's & 90's team, he should have atleast made the 80's team over Fouts.

Glad you have finally seen the light. Brady is the GOAT NFL player, not just the GOAT qb.

Oh, geez. Is this thread for real? Brady just established that he is the luckiest player ever. He isn't even close to the best.

Brady has definitely been hella lucky...when trying to figure out if he is the GOAT or not you have to do so without counting rings.

Being top 3 or4 in almost every passing category, being able to play at a high level for so long, and having 5 rings is not all luck you dumbasses

I can count a lot of times luck has gone the opposite way for him

You could say luck has gone against Brady as well, the 2 Giants superbowls....lucky Tyree catch & insane Manningham catch in the 2nd bowl. Or the lesser known moment when Rache Caldwell dropped a huge pass in the '06 AFC championship game.

Brady is one of those players that could have easily gone anywhere between 3-4 in super bowls to 7-0.

He could've gone also 1-6. I mean Kasay giving kicking the ball out of bounds after Carolina ties it up with less than 2 mins to play. The Rams having all the momentum but Belichick having the balls not to play for OT. Only the Eagles SB (one of the most boring btw) was pretty much never up in the air.

Also having LT, Bell both miss conference championship games. Lee Evans dropping a GW TD followed by Cundiff missing a game tying bunny.

He's had as much luck go his way as against him.

Then the point of saying hes just lucky is stupid
