Suns Summer League Team

They played today and lost to the Timberwolves.

Amare had really good numbers sans the TOs and PFs.

21/8 on 70% FG in under 30 minutes is pretty good, although it is against weak competition. The stat that I was excited by was the 9 free throws in 29 minutes. It shows that he was taking it to the rim hard. I assume that the TOs and PFs are just due to the fact that it is a meaningless game and he wasn't putting full concentration into the game. Also, he hasn't played much in the past year so he is bound to be rusty in the decision making regard of the game.

All in all, it's good to see Amare back and putting up numbers!

Also, I think they should give Lampe more time.

3/3 FG 1/1 3 point FG 8 points 4 rebounds (2 offensive) in only 12 minutes.

Give him 24 minutes and see if he can get 16/8! I've always thought he had potential and I want to see if he has what it takes to be in the NBA. If he should, then I want him on the Suns.

I saw the Box score a few minutes ago and no one other than
Amare had a real good game. I was hoping Lampe, Sato and Chalmers had a solid game and non of them did.

Hopefully they'll perform better tomorrow against the knicks

Good to see Amare had a good game despite the competition.
